AI Interview Preparation

Interview Prep is our focused track for engineers preparing for AI and ML interviews at the companies that run them most rigorously (the large model labs, the big tech AI orgs, the AI-first startups). The AI interview loop has stabilized enough that we can describe its components honestly: an ML coding round, one or two ML concepts rounds, a system design round, a behavioral round, and a company-specific round that tests alignment with the team's particular bar.

The lessons cover each round with the kind of candor we wish someone had offered us: the common traps, the questions that sound generic but are secretly testing a specific thing, the trade-offs interviewers want to see you weigh, and the tell-tale behaviors that signal either a strong or a weak candidate. We also cover the preparation strategies that consistently produce offers and the ones that look like preparation but are mostly procrastination.
