Exit Runbook

Build the exit runbook before you need it — ideally during onboarding, when leverage is highest. Learn the runbook sections (trigger conditions, comms plan, parallel running, data migration, contract obligations, internal change-management), the trigger conditions (planned migration vs forced exit), the parallel-running plan, the data-migration plan, and the post-exit review that captures lessons learned.
